ServiceNow and SocialSuite unveil ESG risk tool

ServiceNow and Socialsuite launch combined sustainability and risk solution. The collaboration aims to enhance ESG compliance using AI and software, integrating sustainability and risk management capabilities to meet evolving regulatory requirements effectively….

ServiceNow, a digital workflow company, and Socialsuite, a sustainability risk management technology firm, have launched a new combined solution designed to help companies integrate their sustainability and risk management capabilities. This initiative utilises artificial intelligence and software to meet Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting compliance requirements.

This new integrated solution builds on Socialsuite’s earlier launch of a software platform aimed at managing double materiality assessments, a key requirement under new sustainability reporting regulations such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). In 2021, ServiceNow introduced an ESG solution allowing companies to plan, manage, and report on ESG strategies, which was followed by the release of their ESG Management solution aimed at managing and governing ESG programmes.

Socialsuite states that this collaboration merges its AI-driven double materiality and stakeholder engagement platform with ServiceNow’s enterprise ESG and risk management capabilities. The combined solution automates sustainability workflows and compliance with CSRD and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Under this partnership, ServiceNow customers will gain access to Socialsuite’s materiality software, while Socialsuite customers can deploy ServiceNow’s ESG Management and Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions to unify governance, risk, compliance (GRC), and sustainability workflows.

Seth Forman, CEO of Socialsuite, commented, “Organisations today are navigating unprecedented regulatory challenges and growing complexity in sustainability compliance. In partnership with ServiceNow, we’re delivering a scalable, intelligent solution designed for this critical moment – empowering companies to confidently manage their sustainability risks and obligations with a reliable, streamlined process and platform.”

The companies have already begun integration efforts, with a certified solution expected to be released soon in the ServiceNow Store.

Mauri Paz, Head of TPRM and Sustainability Products at ServiceNow, stated, “Our partnership with Socialsuite enhances the sustainability ecosystem we provide to our customers. Together, we are harnessing AI and automation to simplify sustainability compliance, making it smarter, more efficient, and truly impactful.”
