UK-based sustainability consulting firm SLR has announced the acquisition of SB&CO, a sustainability advisory firm. SB&CO, established in 2020 by Nigel Salter and Penny Baxter, focuses on advising companies on strategy, sustainability activation and integration, ESG, stakeholder engagement, and communications. The firm assists businesses in developing and executing net-zero roadmaps, Scope 1–3 emissions strategies, and decarbonisation planning.

Co-founders Salter and Baxter expressed their enthusiasm for the acquisition, stating that SLR is well-positioned to meet global clients’ requirements across the spectrum of sustainability challenges. They believe that joining SLR aligns with their ambitions and those of their team to contribute to a global sustainability offering.

SLR offers advisory services to help organisations develop projects responsibly, manage environmental risks, and transition to low-carbon, sustainable business models. The acquisition of SB&CO is expected to enhance SLR’s ability to provide integrated sustainability solutions to its clients.
