NCC Group has announced a strategic partnership with identity security expert Delinea to deliver cloud-native solutions designed to protect organisations from cyber-attacks and insider threats. This development comes shortly after the Manchester-based company agreed to sell its Escode business to TDR Capital LLP for £275 million.

The partnership will concentrate on privileged access management (PAM), assisting businesses in securing critical accounts and systems as they integrate AI, modernise identity controls, and navigate increasing compliance demands. This move aligns with NCC Group’s ambition to become a leading global cyber security and resilience firm.

Delinea’s platform is structured to help organisations identify identities, establish appropriate access levels, and respond to threats in real time, supporting the transition towards Zero Trust Architecture. As part of the agreement, Delinea’s PAM technology will be an integral component of NCC Group’s broader unified digital identity framework.

The joint offering will provide a managed PAM service featuring secure credential vaulting, privileged session management, and just-in-time access controls. This aims to minimise exposure and enforce a “zero standing privilege” approach. The solution is designed for rapid deployment, scalability across hybrid environments, and reduced operational costs through automation and flexible licensing.

Derek Gordon, digital identity practice lead at NCC Group, stated, “We’re on the frontline of cyber defence, providing deep insight into attack paths and adversary strategies. Our unified digital identity framework offers fully managed and integrated cyber services, including PAM, that aim to mitigate risk, support compliance, and enhance user experience. Securing identity doesn’t stop at the point of entry. With Delinea’s software and NCC Group’s expertise, we’re delivering real-time PAM services, empowering our clients to implement Zero Trust and secure AI usage.”

Chris Kelly, president at Delinea, added, “As AI-driven identity-based threats and attacks continue to evolve, businesses are seeking partners that can help them stay ahead, protect their critical assets, and realise the value of their cybersecurity investments more efficiently. By selecting Delinea as its strategic provider of PAM solutions, NCC Group is leading the way in helping our joint customers deploy quickly, augment staff, and offer managed service options to allow for continuous identity discovery, protection, and governance.”
