CybaVerse secures £5 million in Series A funding. Chichester-based cybersecurity firm CybaVerse has raised £5 million from investors including Pembroke VCT, Airbridge, and Haatch to transition to a scalable SaaS model and enhance its CybaOps platform….

CybaVerse, a cybersecurity company based in Chichester, has successfully closed a Series A funding round, securing £5 million. The investment was led by Pembroke VCT, with participation from Airbridge and Haatch. This funding aims to transition the company from founder-led sales to a scalable Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) growth model.

Founded in 2018, CybaVerse has evolved from a boutique consultancy into a significant player in the UK cybersecurity market. The company, which now employs nearly 40 people, offers a SaaS product that integrates detection, compliance, security, and testing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and managed service providers (MSPs).

The newly acquired funds will be used to boost CybaVerse’s sales and marketing efforts, expand its team, and continue the development of its proprietary platform, CybaOps. Over the past year, the company has seen a 180% increase in revenue and maintained a 90% customer retention rate. This Series A round follows a previous £1.1 million funding round in 2024 and the acquisition of SecureAck.

Oliver Spence, CEO of CybaVerse, commented on the investment, stating, “This funding marks an exciting new chapter for CybaVerse. Having such a high calibre of investors onboard validates our vision to design and deliver innovative solutions that empower MSPs and SMEs.” He further added that the investment will accelerate the development of CybaOps, enhance AI-driven features, and expand the team, all while maintaining the company’s mission to simplify cybersecurity for everyone.
