West Ham United has announced a multi-year extension of its partnership with Cheltenham-based cybersecurity firm Salus. Since the collaboration began in 2024, Salus has significantly enhanced the Premier League club’s cybersecurity, achieving a 30% annual reduction in vulnerabilities and a 40% improvement in remediation speed. The extended agreement will further bolster Salus’ role in safeguarding West Ham against emerging industry threats.

Under the new terms, Salus’ branding will gain increased exposure through West Ham’s matchday LED systems at the London Stadium and across the club’s digital platforms. Mo Ali, West Ham United’s IT director, highlighted the productive relationship with Salus over the past year, noting the successful implementation of extensive penetration testing and alignment with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

Salus’ sales director, Greg King, expressed enthusiasm about continuing to support West Ham’s cyber maturity roadmap through various services, including penetration testing, NIST consultancy, and data privacy enhancements. Salus aims to position West Ham United as an early adopter of regulatory standards and best practices in cybersecurity.
