Workiva, a provider of business data and reporting solutions, has announced the launch of its expanded Intelligent platform, featuring the new Intelligent Finance, GRC, and Sustainability solutions. This enhancement incorporates agentic AI capabilities designed to assist finance, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), and sustainability teams in expediting complex workflows and extracting valuable insights from data.

The company has also introduced Workiva AI, an agentic AI platform, integrated into these newly launched solutions. Among the key features of Intelligent Sustainability highlighted by Workiva is the capacity to manage intricate sustainability reporting requirements. This includes functionalities for conducting materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, and drafting disclosures in alignment with standards such as the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

One notable capability is the ability to benchmark and analyze peer companies’ sustainability reports, facilitating the exploration of peers’ sustainability goals and initiatives. Workiva has also showcased features like an “ISSB disclosure creator” for crafting language that references specific ISSB standards, as well as tools to analyze disclosures in accordance with ESRS standards. These features enable users to evaluate impact risks and opportunities and assess reports for accuracy, coherence, consistency, and completeness.

David Haila, Chief Technology Officer at Workiva, commented, “CFOs are responsible for more than ever before, and that responsibility demands technology that is specialized, secure, and built for high-stakes decisions. We’re delivering that support through agentic AI, connected data, and controls you can trust.”
