Carbon management software provider Green Project Technologies has introduced act50, a digital marketplace and supplier engagement platform aimed at aiding companies in reducing and monitoring Scope 3 supply chain emissions. Green Project Technologies, established in 2021, offers a comprehensive web-based platform that integrates carbon accounting, supplier engagement, reporting, and advisory services to assist businesses in managing and cutting emissions throughout their operations and value chains. The company is supported by decarbonisation solutions provider [ACT Group](https://www.actcommodities.com).

The newly launched platform offers a renewable energy procurement solution, allowing enterprises to facilitate suppliers of any scale in acquiring verifiable clean energy, while linking them to renewable energy certificates (EACs). In partnership with ACT Group’s registry infrastructure platform, CerQlar, the platform automates EAC transactions and registry tasks to enhance traceability and auditability, thereby assisting in the tracking, validation, and reporting of supply chain emissions reductions.

Colin Crooks, CEO of ACT Group, remarked, “By leveraging ACT Group’s market infrastructure, act50 ensures that every transaction is real, traceable, and credible. It brings the same level of trust and rigour to Scope 3 action that companies have come to expect from their Scope 1 and 2 strategies.”
