Hyland advances AI-led content automation for enterprises

Hyland expands its Content Innovation Cloud with new AI capabilities. The company’s latest updates enhance automation, integration, and content intelligence across platforms, aiming to accelerate enterprise digital transformation and operational efficiency.

Hyland has unveiled a new wave of cloud and AI-driven enhancements to its Content Innovation Cloud, introducing a suite of integrated solutions designed to streamline automation, content management, and data intelligence across industries.

The updates — spanning agentic automation, cloud-native integrations, and intelligent document processing — aim to help organisations accelerate productivity while maintaining compliance and scalability in complex operational environments.

“Our Q3 product updates showcase our continued leadership in driving enterprise intelligence,” said Michael Campbell, chief product officer at Hyland. “We’re not just innovating — we’re continuing to meet our customers’ evolving needs, helping organisations harness the full potential of their content wherever they are in their digital transformation journey.”

Hyland’s latest portfolio expansion builds on its strategy of embedding AI capabilities within key enterprise systems. Hyland for Salesforce, now available on Salesforce AppExchange, integrates cloud-native content management directly into customer relationship workflows, allowing users to import, search, and manage files securely within Salesforce.

For the insurance sector, Hyland for Guidewire ClaimCenter introduces pre-built, cloud-native integrations that streamline document access and reduce deployment complexity for enterprise content management solutions. The upgrade is designed to improve claims response times and operational efficiency.

In human resources, Hyland for SAP SuccessFactors enhances HR content operations through intelligent, cloud-based services built on the Content Innovation Cloud, while Hyland for Workday — an approved Built on Workday application — enables direct, secure document access within Workday Human Capital Management and Finance.

“Hyland’s continued focus on innovation is delivering real, measurable value for customers across industries,” said Mitch Suter, chief innovation officer at Naviant. “With powerful cloud-native integrations and AI-driven automation, Hyland is helping organisations simplify complexity, unlock insights from their content, and accelerate meaningful outcomes.”

The company has also announced major enhancements across its automation and content intelligence capabilities. Hyland Knowledge Enrichment now allows continuous data feeding into content lakes and automatic masking of personally identifiable information, supporting safer AI and analytics applications. Updates to Hyland Knowledge Discovery improve user experience and introduce new guardrails for AI-generated output.

Meanwhile, Hyland Automate gains new GenAI-driven process configuration tools, and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) introduces advanced reasoning features for contextual data extraction and decision-making at scale.

Further updates to the company’s content management platforms include the Hyland Cloud Update Service, simplifying compliance and version management for OnBase customers, and enhanced scalability for Nuxeo and Alfresco, including improved retention support for Google Cloud Platform and a new SAP Information Lifecycle Management Connector.

Together, these developments signal Hyland’s deepening focus on agentic automation — a new generation of AI-led systems capable of autonomous reasoning and contextual understanding — as enterprises seek to merge content management with decision intelligence.
