Zoho opens Milton Keynes office hub

Zoho has opened a Milton Keynes office to support growth. The move follows 43% UK growth in two years, with workforce numbers tripling and a UK data centre due in Q2 2026.

The company said the new site will serve as a base for customer engagement, partner collaboration, and talent development as it expands roles across sales, marketing, and customer support. Zoho also said more than 500 organisations in Milton Keynes already use its technology, underlining the region’s importance both as a customer base and as a source of future growth.

Lancaster said: “Zoho establishing a presence in Milton Keynes is a significant milestone for the city, reflecting on MK’s ambition and reputation as a thriving hub for innovation and technology.” He added: “Zoho will be another great contributor to our city, creating new opportunities for skills development, supporting local businesses, and strengthening our ambition for continued growth and economic success here in Milton Keynes.”

The office launch comes ahead of Zoho’s planned UK data centre opening in Q2 2026. The company said the facility will allow customers to host data entirely within UK borders, responding to growing demand for data sovereignty, particularly among organisations in regulated sectors. Sachin Agrawal, Managing Director of Zoho UK, said: “Our continued growth in the UK reflects both the strength of the market and increasing demand for technology that is locally relevant and globally capable.”

Agrawal added that the Milton Keynes office and planned data centre together would expand Zoho’s local infrastructure and expertise. The move also fits the company’s wider “Transnational Localism” approach, which it says is designed to combine global scale with in-country capability. Zoho, which marked its 30th anniversary this year, said it now serves more than 150 million users worldwide across more than one million companies, while its UK footprint continues to widen across finance, sales, marketing, HR, and operations.

Service-sector inflation is returning through contracts, transport, and energy bills. March data suggest companies are absorbing faster cost increases while demand, pricing power, and confidence soften.

Data sovereignty becomes a capital question

Data infrastructure decisions now sit beside debt, power, and politics. TikTok’s Finnish expansion and wider financing moves show sovereignty is now a capital-allocation issue, not just a compliance one.

Modest rewards still matter, but access remains sharply uneven nationwide. GCVA says gift cards can boost morale and loyalty, yet part-time workers and public sector staff are far less likely to receive them.
