PeopleBench adds resilience framework in acquisition

PeopleBench has acquired a resilience framework for workforce development strategy. The deal combines workforce analytics with a psychometric tool focused on sustainable performance, adaptability, and wellbeing.

Resilience @ Work, developed by organisational psychologist Dr Kathryn McEwen, is used by organisations, psychologists, wellbeing coaches, and leadership teams to assess how individuals and teams respond to pressure, change, and uncertainty. PeopleBench said the deal combines its workforce improvement platform with a resilience framework focused on adaptability, stress management, and team collaboration.

Fleur Johnston, CEO of PeopleBench, said: “Resilience is no longer just a wellbeing conversation, it is fundamental to sustainable organisational performance. By bringing Resilience @ Work into the PeopleBench ecosystem, we’re combining robust workforce data with a globally respected resilience psychometric scale. This allows organisations not only to understand how their people are feeling, but to actively build the capabilities that help individuals, teams, and leaders thrive in challenging and rapidly changing environments.”

PeopleBench said Resilience @ Work will continue as a specialist product stream within the business, with its practitioner network maintained while the framework is introduced to new sectors and markets. Existing practitioners and partners will continue delivering the framework, and the company said the acquisition also creates scope for accredited resilience coaching and training programmes. Paul Chudleigh, UK and Ireland Lead for Resilience @ Work and Principal Business Psychologist at Neural Harmony, said the deal would help practitioners “deepen the insights and impact they can deliver for their clients and teams”.
