BSN Group hits record £45m turnover

BSN Group has posted record revenue after a breakout year. The contractor’s turnover rose from £25m to £45m, driven by healthcare and living projects, with further expansion planned for 2026.

The company said momentum came from a mix of flagship schemes and repeat work, with major projects delivered for clients including Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Tamworth Borough Council, Stoke-on-Trent City Council, and University Hospitals of Derby & Burton NHS Trust. It also pointed to student accommodation projects in Dundee and Newcastle, as well as The Drey Hotel in London for Cerberus.

Alongside the financial result, BSN said the appointment of joint managing director Nick Gibb to the board, alongside founder Darren Perry and group commercial director Jennifer Reynolds, will help guide the next stage of growth.

Perry said: “The delivery of flagship projects such as The Drey Hotel in London for Cerberus and key student accommodation projects in Dundee and Newcastle have helped build our ever-growing portfolio of work across the Midlands and beyond, and these were critical to our turnover growth in 2025.”

BSN said the wider group now employs more than 80 people across construction, healthcare, heritage, engineering, electrical contracting, and a fast-track division built to respond to more reactive project demand. The business says it can deliver schemes ranging from £250k to £50m and has been recognised in the UK Fast Growth Index. Perry also linked recent performance to the breadth of the group structure and the contribution of long-standing supply chain relationships, particularly as healthcare continues to form a core part of the order book.

Looking ahead, the company said sustainable growth, team expansion, and further senior hires will be priorities for 2026 and beyond, with the acquisition of its engineering arm also expected to support the next phase of development. Perry said: “The priority for 2026 and beyond is to continue to grow sustainably.”
