Marketing group Billion Dollar Boy has acquired US agency Creator Authority, expanding its services into specialist business-to-business influencer marketing and strengthening its presence in the American market.
The transaction, announced on 14 October, brings Creator Authority’s expertise in professional content creators and enterprise marketing into Billion Dollar Boy Group’s wider operations.
Creator Authority was founded by Brendan Gahan and Cassie Jackson and works with business-focused creators, industry specialists and major commercial brands. Its services include campaign strategy, creator relationships, contracting, content licensing and execution.
The agency is a LinkedIn Marketing Partner, reflecting its specialist involvement in campaigns directed at professional audiences. Its reported clients include Amazon, Adobe, AT&T, IBM and Mastercard.
Gahan will take the position of senior vice-president of B2B within the enlarged group, supporting the development of its services for business customers.
The acquisition gives Billion Dollar Boy capabilities in a market where the role of content creators differs from their more established presence in consumer advertising.
Consumer influencer campaigns frequently focus on reaching broad audiences and encouraging relatively immediate purchasing decisions. B2B marketing often involves longer sales processes, specialist evaluation and several people influencing the final decision.
Buyers of enterprise software, professional services and industrial products may need technical information, operational evidence and commercial reassurance before committing to a purchase.
Industry specialists and professional creators can contribute to that process by explaining products, discussing practical applications and helping potential customers identify suppliers worth considering.
The commercial value of such activity depends heavily on credibility. A large social media following is not necessarily as useful as access to a smaller audience whose professional responsibilities and interests align closely with the product being promoted.
Billion Dollar Boy Group’s own research suggests that brands are increasing investment in this area. A survey of 1,000 senior brand and marketing decision-makers in the UK and US found that one in five had invested in B2B creator marketing during 2026.
The company also reports comparatively strong returns from B2B creator campaigns. Those findings reflect marketers’ reported experience and should not be treated as independent evidence that the approach consistently outperforms other marketing channels.
For agencies developing B2B creator services, campaign execution involves more than selecting personalities and arranging sponsored posts. Clients may require extensive approval processes, technical validation, intellectual property arrangements and clear evidence of commercial outcomes.
Those considerations become more demanding when creators discuss complex technologies or services operating in regulated markets. Claims about product performance, compliance or business benefits need appropriate scrutiny, regardless of whether the message appears in conventional advertising or creator-led content.
The acquisition also strengthens Billion Dollar Boy Group’s American operations. The business already has an established New York presence, while Creator Authority brings relationships and expertise supporting further expansion on the US West Coast.
Within the enlarged group, Creator Authority will be able to draw on wider creative services and the creator intelligence capabilities offered through Billion Dollar Boy’s Companion platform.
The combination creates opportunities to serve multinational businesses through integrated campaigns, although the eventual value will depend on retaining specialist expertise and developing commercial relationships across the combined organisation.
The companies have not disclosed the financial consideration in their own public acquisition announcement. The transaction therefore cannot be assessed against a confirmed purchase price from that source.
Professional networks and industry communities are becoming increasingly important parts of how businesses discover products and evaluate potential suppliers. Formal procurement and established commercial relationships remain central, but specialist creators are now competing for a larger role in the earlier stages of business purchasing decisions.
Billion Dollar Boy’s acquisition positions it to pursue that demand through a broader international offering. The commercial test will be whether the combined group can deliver measurable marketing outcomes while maintaining the professional credibility on which B2B creator activity depends.
