Version 1 has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire CreateFuture for an undisclosed amount, adding scale in AI-led digital transformation and expanding its reach in regulated sectors including iGaming, financial services, and utilities.
The transaction, announced on 30 April, will create a combined organisation of 4,250 employees with annual revenues of more than €500 million. CreateFuture brings 550 professionals to the enlarged group and adds a client base in sectors where delivery is shaped by both technical complexity and regulatory requirements.
Version 1 said the acquisition will strengthen its private sector presence and enhance its AI-first capabilities. The combined business plans to deliver AI-driven digital transformation programmes at greater scale across public and private sector environments, drawing on CreateFuture’s experience as a practitioner-led, AI-native technology services business.

CreateFuture said the deal will give it greater scale and broader capability while keeping its leadership team in place. The company has spent 16 years building its position in highly regulated markets, where enterprise clients are seeking modernisation programmes that combine engineering capability with sector-specific knowledge.

The CreateFuture leadership team will remain in place and continue to lead existing teams and client relationships. Completion remains subject to customary regulatory clearances.
