SNG goes live with Workday platform

SNG completes Workday rollout across core HR and finance operations. The housing association says the new platform gives more than 3,000 employees a unified digital foundation.

The housing association said it will now operate on a unified Workday platform designed to support more than 3,000 employees and scale with the organisation’s wider social mission. SNG manages 85,000 homes and operates in what the company described as an increasingly complex regulatory and economic environment.

The organisation said bringing HR and finance together on one platform will help break down internal barriers and improve visibility across the business. Workday said its HCM tools are intended to reduce manual HR administration and provide leaders with real-time insight into talent and skills, while Workday Financial Management is designed to support faster accounting processes and clearer links between workforce activity and financial performance.

The rollout was delivered with PwC through the Workday partner ecosystem. The companies said the deployment was completed efficiently and without disruption, giving SNG a digital foundation for future change.

Kevin Ives, chief information officer at SNG, said: “Moving our core HR and finance operations to Workday is a huge step forward for our organisation. Working hand-in-hand with PwC and Workday, we have successfully delivered this crucial first phase of our transformation. We now have a robust, unified system that vastly improves the daily experience for our colleagues, providing us with the sturdy groundwork required to evolve and better serve our communities.”

Daniel Pell, vice president and country manager, UKI, Workday, said: “When it comes to mission-critical work, organisations need a deterministic foundation that provides consistent, auditable outcomes. By bringing HR and Finance together on Workday, and in close partnership with PwC, SNG can operate with greater certainty and speed.”

Althea D’Lima, Workforce Transformation Partner at PwC, said: “Delivering a transformation of this scale requires a shared vision and a profound commitment to the end goal. By combining Workday’s unified platform with our implementation expertise, we have helped equip SNG with a resilient, future-ready environment that will accelerate their strategic ambitions.”
