Quantum security specialist joins scaleup portfolio

A quantum security provider has secured new portfolio backing today. Arqit will join Tomorrow Street’s scaleup portfolio as demand grows around post-quantum migration and cyber resilience.

The addition follows Arqit’s participation in Tomorrow Street’s 2025 Scaleup X programme, where the company worked with technology stakeholders and demonstrated how its products could address emerging cyber security challenges across the ecosystem. Tomorrow Street, a joint venture between Vodafone and Luxembourg’s technology incubator, uses the portfolio to back scaleups working across areas including data, security, and digital infrastructure.

For Arqit, the new role broadens access to organisations preparing for a shift towards post-quantum security environments. The company said it will use the ecosystem to help customers understand cryptographic risk, identify vulnerabilities, and map out quantum-resilient security strategies. It also pointed to a route for customers seeking to secure data and pursue data sovereignty in the post-quantum era through its NetworkSecure product.

Sara Robles Moreno, CEO of Tomorrow Street, said: “Arqit brings strong expertise in an area that is becoming increasingly important for organisations as they prepare for the future of security. Its journey through Scaleup X and into our portfolio reflects the role Tomorrow Street plays in identifying and supporting technologies with clear relevance to real-world challenges.”

Andy Leaver, CEO of Arqit, said: “We’re proud to be the first quantum security company to join the Tomorrow Street Scaleup Partners portfolio. This has been driven by growing customer demand due to the acceleration of PQC migration timelines. Arqit’s selection is a strong endorsement of the comprehensive, end-to-end solution we provide to help organisations meet these fast-evolving requirements.”

The announcement places Arqit more firmly within a wider enterprise security ecosystem at a point when post-quantum planning is moving from a specialist conversation towards a broader operational requirement for organisations with sensitive data, long-lived assets, or complex compliance needs.
