One iota launches Amplify for stores

Amplify brings full online ranges into stores without bespoke builds. One iota’s Shopify-native kiosk app lets shoppers browse the full catalogue in-store and complete purchases on their own phones.

The product extends online catalogue depth into stores where shelf space and stockholding still limit what customers can see. Amplify connects directly to Shopify and syncs product, pricing, and inventory data in real time, giving retailers a live view of the wider ecommerce offer inside the store environment.

One iota said the app can be deployed in minutes on existing devices, avoiding the longer lead times and heavier build work that have often come with bespoke in-store selling tools. Customers can build a basket on the kiosk and check out on their own device, while store teams can use the same set-up for assisted selling or self-service browsing. Amplify is available now on the Shopify marketplace.

The company said the technology behind the product has already been developed and tested with global retailers including HUGO BOSS. Its broader customer base includes Hugo Boss, Regatta, and Pro:Direct. One iota is positioning Amplify as a scalable version of technology that has previously been delivered through more customised projects.

Joe Till, CEO at One iota, said: “Retailers have invested heavily in ecommerce, but stores haven’t always kept pace. Amplify brings that capability into the physical space. It gives every store access to innovation that was previously only available to a handful of large retailers.”

Amplify sits within One iota’s wider Shopify ecosystem, alongside products focused on performance insight and customer service. The company said mobile now drives the majority of Shopify traffic, while app users show stronger engagement and conversion, increasing pressure on retailers to connect store and online journeys more closely.

Till added: “Stores still matter hugely, but their role is evolving. The opportunity is to combine physical experience with the scale of ecommerce, without adding cost or complexity. That’s what Amplify unlocks.”
