Logistics developer hires capital markets director

A European logistics developer has made a capital markets hire. Mountpark has brought in Tom Mills to support capital raising, joint ventures, and disposal strategy across its pipeline.

Mills joins from CBRE, where he most recently served as Director, European Capital Markets Industrial & Logistics, advising on acquisitions, funding, and disposals across the development lifecycle. At Mountpark, he will be responsible for growing the company’s capital markets activity from the principal side, with a remit that includes capital raising, joint venture origination, and co-investment structures linked to the group’s development pipeline across the UK, Ireland, and Continental Europe.

The appointment also formalises a relationship that is already well established. Mills worked closely with Mountpark during his agency career and advised on a 2020 portfolio spanning the UK, Ireland, and France. He also worked on the sale of the Amazon Return Center at Mountpark Sered in Slovakia, the disposal of Mountpark Baldonnell II in 2024, and a series of site acquisitions across the wider pipeline.

“Tom’s appointment is a natural fit for Mountpark. Through his advisory work, he knows the business exceptionally well and brings deep experience and strong relationships across the industrial and logistics capital markets. The team has already enjoyed working closely with Tom, and we look forward to the contribution he will make as we continue to execute our forward-looking strategy,” said Paul Segreto, Managing Director.

Mountpark said Mills will also support disposal strategies once projects hit business plan targets and play a central role in discussions with joint venture capital partners. The hire points to a continued focus on funding flexibility and partner relationships as the developer advances projects across multiple European markets.

The company has more than 10 years’ experience in logistics development across the UK and Europe. Mountpark Logistics EU Sarl is wholly owned by Affinius Capital, an institutional real estate investment business focused on value creation and income generation.
