GoodData launches enterprise AI agent builder

GoodData launches Agent Builder for governed enterprise AI deployment today. The new product is designed to help organisations configure, manage, and scale analytics agents across teams and customer environments.

GoodData has launched Agent Builder, a new capability within its analytics and decision intelligence platform that is designed to help enterprises build, configure, and scale analytics agents across teams, customers, workspaces, and user groups.

The product gives organisations a dedicated environment for creating multiple purpose-built agents rather than relying on a single assistant. Users can define role, skills, personality, knowledge, and permissions through natural language prompts or templates, while more advanced teams can extend agents through API access. GoodData said Agent Builder is connected to live, permission-aware enterprise data through its governed semantic layer, AI Memory, and AI Knowledge, with the aim of producing grounded and compliant outputs.

Agent Builder also includes a structured reasoning framework that allows agents to plan tasks, select tools, execute steps, and adapt within set guardrails. GoodData said every action is observable and auditable, with tracing, performance monitoring, and usage analytics built into the product. The company said this allows agents to be tailored for analysts, business users, developers, and data engineers without separate engineering work for each use case.

“We kept hearing the same thing: the agent works, but getting it into production takes too long, and once they’re live, there’s not enough control over configuration and governance,” said Peter Fedorocko, Field CTO at GoodData. “That gap exists because the pieces were never made configurable and scalable in one place. Agent Builder closes it. You go from blank slate to governed, production-ready agent in minutes and deploy it everywhere without rebuilding anything.”

The release comes as analytics vendors push further into agentic AI, with enterprise buyers looking beyond demonstrations and asking how agents will be managed at scale. GoodData said Agent Builder supports multi-tenant deployments, allowing a single configuration to be rolled out across hundreds of customer environments while maintaining governance and consistency. The company is also extending support for API-triggered execution and agent standards including MCP and A2A. More on Agent Builder is available on GoodData’s website.
