G2A and epay broaden gift card reach

G2A and epay are widening digital gift card access globally. The partnership brings hundreds of entertainment gift cards into one marketplace for faster, simpler top-ups.

The partnership adds a broader gift card portfolio to G2A’s marketplace and extends access across dozens of markets. G2A said the collaboration combines its reach in more than 180 countries with epay’s prepaid and branded payments network, giving customers more options across brands, regions, and denominations, along with instant code delivery that can be redeemed within minutes.

Katarzyna Jakubiec, Chief Business Officer at G2A, said: “Gift cards are often the first step into digital entertainment for millions of people around the world, and, increasingly, they’re the way people manage everyday gaming spend.” She added: “By partnering with epay, we can offer even more of the world’s most popular gift cards in one trusted place – making it easier for our users to play, create, and share.”

The companies framed the partnership as a response to rising global demand for flexible, prepaid digital entertainment. They said gift cards are increasingly being used not only for gifting, but also for day-to-day budgeting, local payment access, and cross-border support for family and friends. For customers who prefer prepaid balances or need region-specific payment options, that broader access is positioned as a practical advantage rather than a simple catalogue expansion.

G2A and epay also placed trust and transaction security at the centre of the announcement. The companies said verified partners, transaction safeguards, and defined processes on both sides are intended to help users feel confident that purchased codes are authentic and ready to use. For G2A, the deal strengthens its push to become a larger hub for digital entertainment purchases; for epay, it extends distribution for branded digital content through a marketplace with global consumer reach.
