EcoVadis teams with SGS, QIMA for new audits

EcoVadis expands network with SGS and QIMA for audits. The company enhances its ecosystem to meet rising client demand for training and auditing services, integrating SGS and QIMA to strengthen global supply chain sustainability through expert verification and assurance….

EcoVadis, a provider of business sustainability ratings and solutions, has announced the expansion of its Partnership & Alliance network. The company has added SGS, a testing, inspection and certification firm, and QIMA, a supply chain compliance and quality assurance provider, to its ecosystem to offer new audit services.

The Partnership & Alliance ecosystem is designed to utilise a network of technology, consulting, solutions partners, and system integrators to drive the sustainable transformation of global supply chains. EcoVadis states that the introduction of these new services is in response to increasing client demand for training and auditing services, especially when risks are identified and targeted verification is needed during its ESG assessments.

Pierre-François Thaler, co-founder and co-CEO of EcoVadis, emphasised the importance of this network, stating that their clients often seek recommendations for critical services like audits. Thaler noted, “Our clients frequently ask us for recommendations for high-stakes services like audit, and we have a responsibility to connect them with the very best. This isn’t just about referrals; it’s about carefully curating a network of trusted experts who share our commitment to client success.”

This expansion comes on the heels of EcoVadis’ recent launch of its Worker Voice solution suite, which provides companies with real-time worker-level information on responsible sourcing and human rights issues within their supply chains. The new audit services will allow companies to access a network of accredited experts for onsite verification and remediation monitoring.

Neil Willings, Global Head of Sustainability and Supply Chain at SGS, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting the opportunity to extend their audit expertise to a wider client base. He stated, “We are excited to provide additional support to the EcoVadis ecosystem using our large network of more than 800 expert auditors. This partnership will allow us to offer our specialised audit expertise to a broader client base while collaborating with a company that truly understands the power of strategic partnerships.”

Anouschka Jansen, Sustainability Director at QIMA, commented on the alignment of their goals with EcoVadis, noting, “For QIMA, partnering with EcoVadis aligns with our vision to empower responsible, transparent supply chains globally. We take pride in helping EcoVadis members on their sustainability journeys and transforming their values into actionable practices.”

Service-sector inflation is returning through contracts, transport, and energy bills. March data suggest companies are absorbing faster cost increases while demand, pricing power, and confidence soften.

Data infrastructure decisions now sit beside debt, power, and politics. TikTok’s Finnish expansion and wider financing moves show sovereignty is now a capital-allocation issue, not just a compliance one.

Modest rewards still matter, but access remains sharply uneven nationwide. GCVA says gift cards can boost morale and loyalty, yet part-time workers and public sector staff are far less likely to receive them.
