Clinichub sees record UK demand as medical tourism set to grow 20% in 2026

Clinichub reports record UK patient numbers in 2025. The Turkish cosmetic surgery provider expects another year of double-digit growth as global medical tourism continues to surge and UK patients seek affordable, full-service treatment packages abroad.

Clinichub, one of Turkey’s largest cosmetic surgery providers, has reported record demand from UK patients in 2025 and expects further double-digit expansion next year. The company says it has seen a 10–20% year-on-year increase in UK patient volumes, with between 1,800 and 2,200 British patients treated from January to August 2025 — up from 1,500 to 2,000 during the same period last year.

UK patients now represent more than 40% of Clinichub’s international clientele, with London and Manchester remaining the largest source markets. According to the clinic’s latest figures, rhinoplasty remains the most in-demand treatment among British visitors, up 25% this year, followed by weight-loss treatments and wider plastic surgery procedures, both up 15%.

The company says typical rhinoplasty packages cost between £4,000 and £10,000 — comparable with the lower range of UK private clinic pricing — and include accommodation, transfers, and aftercare support.

“In 2025, we’ve witnessed a fundamental change in how UK patients plan and access cosmetic procedures,” a Clinichub spokesperson said. “Cost, quality expectations, discreetism, and aftercare now outweigh geography. Despite perceived uncertainty in the medical tourism market — over economic pressures, scrutiny, and competition — we have witnessed our biggest annual growth to-date.”

Clinichub expects the global medical tourism market to expand by more than 10% in 2026, with Turkey retaining its position as one of the most popular destinations for cosmetic and weight-loss surgery. “Based on our 2025 data, we expect our growth at Clinichub to be around 12–18% in 2026 alone,” the company added.

Clinichub’s data also suggests that rhinoplasty procedures will remain the top treatment for UK patients next year. The clinic cites rising social media visibility, video-call culture, and improved surgical techniques as reasons behind the sustained demand.

It estimates that around 16,000 monthly UK online searches relate to “rhinoplasty,” not counting adjacent terms such as “nose correction” or “nose surgery.” The company says that travelling abroad for cosmetic treatments continues to appeal to patients seeking both affordability and privacy, often combining procedures with recovery stays abroad.

The clinic also expects demand for bariatric and weight-loss treatments to rise sharply next year, driven by ongoing shortages and unauthorised sales of GLP-1 weight-loss drugs in the UK. “With high private costs and tighter prescription pathways, many patients are reassessing their long-term weight-loss strategies,” the spokesperson said. “These factors will drive additional growth in bariatric procedures in 2026.”

Clinichub’s experts say minimally invasive and confidence-restoring treatments are now leading decision-making among UK patients. The company expects this trend to continue as the medical tourism sector grows by an anticipated 20% worldwide in 2026.
